Year Five Don Philosophical Hats

Year 5 have been putting on their philosophical hats and contemplating why people believe in God. They were given a range of statements to debate on shared paper and they wrote their own thoughts, feelings and questions about what they meant. They were able to discuss their points articulately and clearly using their oracy skills to build upon one another's arguments. They demonstrated the 4Rs clearly, even if they did not agree with one another.
