Year 6's Careers Week 2025

As part of Careers Week, Year 6 were lucky to welcome a Creative Director, to tell us about his exciting career. Stuart works on advertising campaigns and events, film direction, photoshoots and event space design.

During his visit, he reflected on his time at primary school, where he particularly enjoyed English and Art—subjects that played a key role in shaping his future. He even recalled being part of a Year 6 newsletter, which he believes sparked his passion and set him on the path to his current career.

The Year 6 children were excited to ask Stuart many questions where they learnt that he had worked on projects all over the world and has even met famous figures, including Marcus Rashford! (We were very excited to hear that!)

Stuart spoke about the importance of being passionate in everything you do and how much he enjoys what he does every day.

Our Year 6 students were truly inspired by his journey, and who knows—maybe we have some future Creative Directors in our midst!

Careers Day 2025!

This careers day, we have done a number of jobs in Year six. Samuel has done many jobs as Miss Maltwood such as writing the newsletter and presenting in assembly. Flyn and Khiara have been teaching their classes and reading out the spelling test. Flyn also taught 6F PE and Joel has been helping Miss Mclean in the office by answering phone calls, taking notes in assembly and taking part in various other office jobs. We have had a lot of fun and realised how much teachers do in school and have had a chance to do the fun (and not so fun) things that teachers do every day. Written by Flyn AKA Miss Fontenoy
