Year 5 Class Assembly - the Holiday Show - November 2023
In Year 5, our topic last term was 'The Holiday Show' where we were learning about the physical Geography of the World. To begin with, we learned about weather patterns and the different biomes on Earth. After looking at different biomes around the World, we focused on London and in particular, its landmarks. During our learning, we were lucky enough to go into central London and take a boat along the River Thames passing by many recognisable landmarks. To conclude our learning , the children - as part of their homework- created London landmarks.
Dedicated to the Memory of Shirley Sullivan
Shirley was a true Londoner, so we dedicate this assembly to her.
