Year 4 Study the Human Form

"Last week Year 4 continued their artwork based on the Human Body and form. We began by playing a game where one person per table came to the front and drew a person doing an action for their team to guess. This allowed the us to experiment with conveying activity and bodies in a new and exciting manner. Once our incredibly competitive game finished we then moved onto the main part of the lesson. Unlike in other weeks where we practiced mastering the human form using charcoal for shading and simple block line drawings; this time Year 4 drew their peers in as much detail as possible, making sure to include their facial expressions, clothing, hair and body language. We really enjoyed the opportunities to try different poses and how these impact how other people draw us!"
