Year 3 took part in World War II Day

On Friday, the children were able to dress up as part of our World War II day. They took part in a range of activities so they could fully immerse themselves as though they were children during this time. They were fortunate enough to have a guest speaker who was a child during this time. Although the children have studied diary entries and letter writing from the perspective of a child, it was great for them to hear first hand the experiences of Rosalie (Mrs Vallance and Ms Mullins Mother). We were so grateful that she could volunteer her time to speak to us. A huge thank you from all of year 3!
