Nursery Learn all about Cultures and Celebration

Nursery have started their learning about different cultures in our community and the celebrations though out the year with a focus on Harvest. This is a celebration to give thanks to the land and to those who work on the land to collect the Harvest ready for winter. We used oil pastels to draw still life pictures of vegetables by looking at the colours and shapes we could see. We then chopped and cooked Harvest Soup and gave thanks to all the farmers that help us eat by growing food around the world.

We also started our new topic: ‘Transport’ by talking about different vehicles and journeys we make. We then chose a vehicle to create using 2D shapes.
