Book Week
We will step into the magical world of reading during Children’s Book Week 2025! This special week is dedicated to celebrating young readers, authors, and the transformative power of children’s literature. Schools, libraries, and communities worldwide come together to encourage children to develop a lifelong love for reading.
Children’s Book Week is an annual celebration that promotes the enjoyment and importance of books for young readers. The event features activities, readings, and promotions aimed at enhancing children’s literacy and their appreciation for diverse, empowering stories. We will end the week with Dress as a Book Character Day on Friday 7th March with a prize for the best costume from each year group.
The following week we will be holding a Book Fair from Thursday 13th to Tuesday 18th March provided by Scholastic and The Travelling Book Company, where the children will be able to buy from a large range of books and will be able to get a £1 discount by using the World Book Day token that they will have all received.
